A windshield laminated with Trosifol® The Wedge PVB interlayer acts as a combiner – overlapping the two reflections that occur when projecting Head-Up Display (HUD) information – to create a high-quality image without ghosting.
The partial wedge design of Trosifol® The Wedge Monolayer not only allows you to create thinner and lighter windshield construction (compared to full-wedge profiles), but the partial wedge design also allows for longer rolls, easier roll handling, and improved sheet processing at the glass.
